8th Annual Dinner Theater June 3rd at FPC

A major fund-raising -- and joy-filled -- event has become an annual tradition at Yellville's First Presbyterian Church. Each year, FPC hosts a "Dinner Theater" for the community, and provides high-quality food and entertainment for those who attend:

Proceeds to Benefit Vera Lloyd Center

This year, the event's proceeds will benefit the Vera Lloyd Center. Through the Center, boys and girls from all over Arkansas are able to obtain residential care, therapeutic group homes, emergency shelter and respite care. Youth are nurtured, cared for, healted from past traumas, and given an opportunity to improve academic, social and independent living skills. They learn how to care for themselves and others as they prepare to enter higher education, begin careers and become productive adults.

Tickets are $18 for adults, and $8 for children under 12. Tickets go on sale May 15th.

Silent Auction

The accompanying "Silent Auction" offers another way to raise funds for the Center. Items can be brought to the church any time before June 1. All items are welcome -- no item is too small in value! Handmade items go really well -- especially items for the kitchen and garden. It would be great to have some children's items, too!

If you have any questions, see Edie Kate Hampton, or Jerry Hulgan.
