Holy Week 2017
Celebrate Holy Week 2017 with a variety of daily worship services.
Women's Ministry is collecting aluminum cans. (such as vegetables or fruit come in) Last year we made 100 goodie bags for the Yellville Food Closet for Christmas. This year during the month of December, they had over 300 children come through and ran out of the goodie bags. This year we will be decorating these aluminum cans and hope to be able to double what we donated last year. Please deposit clean, label free cans in the flowered bin in the kitchen. This will be an ongoing collection until we reach our desired amount of cans.
will be April 20 at 2:00 p.m. We can always use extra hands to help serve refreshments. A signup sheet is in the back of the church if you can help or provide any of the items listed.
This month we will be collecting items to make small goodie bags for the moms at Serenity House in Mountain Home. Serenity, Inc. was founded as a volunteer organization in 1988 in Mountain Home, Arkansas, to provide emergency shelter and advocacy services to women and children dealing with domestic violence. The items we would like is small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotions, body wash, perfume sample bottles, small pieces of jewelry, hair accessories, etc. Please put your items in the pink flowered basket located in the kitchen.
We will once again host the community Easter Morning Breakfast! Breakfast will follow the Easter Sunrise Service which begins at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 16th. Breakfast should begin approximately 7:15. If you would like to help, there will be a sign-up sheet on the table. Contact Thelma if you have any questions. Encourage your family and friends to join us!
